Pinnacle Bank recently featured the Sandhills Open Road Challenge in their The Community Matters Series. The Community Matters Series is a website created to capture and share stories from the communities Pinnacle Bank calls home.
On August 8, 2013, the 2nd annual Loup 2 Loup (L2L) Open Road Race asked its surrounding communities to help with the race that runs the 12 miles between Halsey and Purdum and back again.

Arnold Volunteer Fire Department members received a presentation check from Sandhills Open Road Challenge representatives in the amount of $19,500.00 on March 26. The money will be used to purchase the new “Jaws of Life.”
